Tough and very hardy with thick tubers. Generally considered invasive; however, these nostalgic plants can serve as erosion control etc. Please use online resources to learn if these will serve your needs
Very easy to grow in sun/partial sun; average soil; average moisture
Scape height: 24-48 inches
Bloom Size: 4-5 inches; occasionally plants will show additional characteristics; some times / years bloom petals will double
Bloom Season: Midseason (often around the Fourth of July)
BARE ROOT PLANTS: No pot, minimal soil, sold in a plastic bag
Dug upon your arrival as Ma Nature permits

Can often show/dig late mornings thru early afternoon near Naperville Central HS (Green Acres) or 9AM-Noon in Westmont (near the Burlington Train Station); sorry, NO late afternoons or evenings; weekends often OK, same basic hours
Send request to see/pick-up via the bookoo message system; NO text or telephone correspondence, please, as garden soil and muddy gloves do not work well with any phone. Best to set appointment (where??) at least 24 hrs in advance and, if possible, to indicate item(s) of interest since not all plants are available at both places (just ask to avoid disappointments)
