My husband and I purchased this condo for our two daughters because it was cheaper than living in the dorms or renting in Normal. We made improvements to the unit (as you will read below), so it is in really great shape now. Our daughters loved living there because it is a quiet community-- away from the noise of Greek row, other apartment complexes, and the stadium.

The companies that rent in Normal/Bloomington have very strict policies regarding move-in and move-out. I have never heard of anyone getting all of their security deposit back because of the strict standards these companies place in their contracts. So, by purchasing, we didn't have to deal with any of that. Also, our girls could register for park district programs and get summer swimming passes because they were considered residents.
