Antique Ansonia Clock Gingerbread Mantle Parlor Kitchen Clock Circa 1900
This beautiful antique Gingerbread Mantle clock by Ansonia keeps time correctly and is in very good overall condition.
This clock is from either the late 19th or early 20th Century, there are blemishes including wear on the dial face and nicks in the wood, but this does not detract from the beauty and character of this survivor from the late Victorian or early Edwardian periods. The clock chimes the hour and half hour about 40 seconds ahead of schedule, but otherwise it keeps time correctly. The wood case / cabinet is probably made of Walnut, but could be another type of wood, with dimensions of 22 ¼" high x 14 3/8" wide x 5" deep.
This clock will make an excellent addition to your decor and is worthy of display in the finest of homes.
